Textured Fabric Relief

Using a blade as my paintbrush, I have developed a technique that I call "textured fabric reliefs", to construct images with textile collage and painting. I use figurative gestures and appropriate fabrics that have personal resonance, intriguing patterns, and cultural references to my study of African dance and yoga.
