Here and Now Mandalas
Franklin Pierce Lake, 2023
"Here and Now Mandalas 2023" is the third variation of a series of public art mandalas at Franklin Pierce Lake. This collaborative art process involved creating exuberantly colorful sand drawings on the frozen lake and a yoga/dance jam alongside musicians Ezra and Owen Landis. The site of Franklin Pierce Lake in Hillsboro, NH has inspired my exploration of the complex cultural history of New England and celebrated the links between heaven and earth, ice and snow, and nature and humankind.
