The “Einstein Series” investigates the anatomical uniqueness of the brain, based on renderings of the brain of Nobel Laureate and physicist Albert Einstein, historic engravings, and MRI imaging to investigate anatomical relationships to consciousness, conscience, and intelligence. I collaborated with cognitive neuroscientist Tony Brown, PhD, M.D. of the Global Neuroscience Foundation who supplied me with photographs of Einstein’s brain. These photographs, maintained at the United States Army Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center, served as the basis for my hand-drawn brains which were used as a template to lasercut the images into wood. I point out specific locations in the human brain that scientists have identified as the neural networks related to spirituality and visions.
